Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector




As touched upon in our last blog post Phoenix offer a course 'Preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector'(PTLLS) which is the first step to become a qualified teacher in the post-compulsory education and training sector. 
Phoenix Business CardWith this qualification you are licensed to teach and you are awarded to become an affiliate member of the Institute for Learning (IfL), which is the professional body for teachers and trainers in further education and skills. Not only does this course get you in to teaching, it is a starting point for continuous professional development.

This course offers many transferable skills crucial for today's climate and to get started in the teaching profession. 
* Explored your own roles and responsibilities as a teacher
* Practised creative approaches to teaching and learning
* Developed lesson plans and resources
